Human Rights Center is starting new project Promoting Freedom of Religion in Georgia by the financial support of Embassy of Canada in Turkey. Within the project framework, lawyers of Human Rights Center will provide legal assistance regarding the facts of restriction of religious freedom and will monitor the actions of law-enforcement in terms of compliance with the international human rights principles and Georgian legislation when it comes to ensuring freedom of religion. The recent facts of religious intolerance will also be studied within the framework of the project. The articles around these issues will be prepared and published on www.humanrights.ge.
