General Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia studies the case about the status of Bakur Bakashvili, a police officer in Lagodekhi district department of MIA, which he published on social network Facebook.

Bakur Bakashvili posted on his facebook page that he was going to hunt a pig in the national forest reserve together with his 7-year-old daughter.

“In near future, I am taking my elder daughter Lile Bakashvili, 7-years-old, to hunt a pig and I warn all agencies in Georgia not to hinder me to do that because my daughter will be there too,” Bakashvili said.

The police officer’s facebook status contained warning elements.

“I will shoot anybody [who will go against me] and then let them inquire whose patron has more influence. You must not think of professional duties, bonuses and awards in that moment; I will place everybody in the coffin,” Bakashvili wrote.

Society got astonished with the status of the police officer from Lagodekhi.

After negative reaction, Bakur Bakashvili deleted the post and then cancelled his page on facebook too but the information was still disseminated in the social network. MIA also detected his facebook status.

Representatives of the MIA told humanrights.ge the General Inspection is studying the case.
