The residential buildings are demolished in the Kombinati settlement in Gori. That’s why up to 60 families can lose flats and stay homeless. The local population declared they several times applied the Local Self-Government and the Central Government of Georgia about their living conditions, but there was no response.

“We request rehabilitation, but they say the buildings shall be destroyed, however, they neither destroy, nor repair anything. The problem is also drainage system and drinking water”, - Nika Lomidze, the local inhabitant, explained.

Gulnaz Goshadze, the local inhabitant, said in 2012 that time Prime-Minister promised to help them when he visited their settlement. However, Goshadze said 4 years passed by and the situation has aggravated.

Residents of Kombinati settlement appealed the Gori City Hall to solve the problem, although, they claimed, there was no reaction till now.

Representatives of the Agency of Infrastructure at the Gori City Hall said they addressed the Samkharauli Expertise Bureau and are waiting for the results of the expertise for one year.

“After the conclusion arrives, we will know whether the buildings should be destroyed or rehabilitated. On March 30, 2015 we appealed the Samkharauli National Bureau of Expertise and have not received their conclusions yet”, - Iago Tsiklauri, the representative of the Infrastructure Agency at the Gori City Hall said.

There is no concrete answer from the Gori City Hall where the 60 families will go if the residential buildings are destroyed.
