Workshop regarding the Usage of Magnitsky Style Sanctions

On October 3, 2018, Human Rights Center, International Partnership for Human Rights and US-based NGO Freedom Now organized workshop in Human Rights House Tbilisi. The workshop was dedicated the issues of using Magnitsky style sanctions to punish perpetrators of human rights violations and corruption and possibilities of introducing similar approach/mechanisms in Georgia. The workshop was led by Simon Papuashvili, Programme Director of International Partnership for Human Rights and Maran Turner, executive director of Freedom Now.

The representatives of following NGOs participated in the workshop: Human Rights Center, Georgian Young Lawyers Association, Article 42 of Constitution, Georgian Center for Psychosocial and Medical Rehabilitation of Torture Victims (GCRT) and Truth Hounds.
