The investigative bodies continue search of the boy, who disappeared in Gori 14 years ago, in the central park of the city “Akhalbagi”. The area is surrounded with yellow ribbons of police and is protected by police officers.

The search started in the park after I.N, charged for the murder of 9-years-old girl, provided law enforcement bodies with additional information about the missing adult Zakro Berdzenishvili. 14 years ago, I.N was convicted only for the extortion of money from Berdzenishvili’s family. I.N named the territory, where the body of the missing boy was allegedly buried years ago.

“Accused I.N made additional testimony with regard to the crime committed in 2004 and MIA carried out investigative experiment. Police officers searched the indicated area and some materials were withdrawn, which are now examined,” deputy minister of internal affairs Kakha Sabandze said on November 21 in Nikozi village.

In the frame of the investigative activities, experts examined the location with special equipment – so-called scanner. The deputy minister said the experts are analyzing the obtained materials.
