One more Journalist is Beaten in Batumi

Jelaly Kikava, whose house is situated near the Security Ministry office of Batumi, hung the flag of the National Movement from his balcony. This action did not go unnoticed by the government.

A group working for Aslan Abashidze began to take down the flag, and journalists of the TV Company "Imedi" tried capture footage of the event on camera.

The camera operator for Imedi, David Gogitauri, was forced to stop filming the incident, and was severely beaten by this group.

Imedi released a protest statement expressing concern regarding the assault against their employee.
