The Whereabouts of Kidnapped David Badzagua is Unknown

On January 21-23 NGOs "Association for Georgian Young Political Scientists and Journalists" and "The Union of Abkhaz and Georgian Artists" carried out a joint project, which envisaged the cultural rehabilitation of Georgian children living in the territory of Abkhazia, in Gali. Having arrived in the Capital fifty children took part in the cultural events.

Project organizer, head of one of the organization 32 year old David Badzagua was kidnapped from Zugdidi after he had taken the children back to Gali and was going back to Tbilisi.

The press conference was arranged at the office of Public Defender by the Youth NGOs addressing to the government of Georgia, Russian Peacekeepers, UN Observatory mission and asked for the immediate reaction on the fact of kidnap.
