David Mirtskhulava’s Petition in European Court of Human Rights

European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg registered the petition of David Mirtskhulava, the former Minister of Fuel and Energy titled “Mirtskhulava versus Georgia.”


David Mirtskhulava, who was operated on a few weeks ago, is in hospital for the time being. He needs to undergo additional medical inspection

.
Mirtskhulava was arrested in December of last year and is being charged with abuse of power.  The court has prolonged the 3 months term of pre-detention  to 6 months on the grounds of mediation by the General Prosecutor’s Office.
