Investigation Denies the Fact of Beating Elizbarashvili  by the Minister of Education Kakha Lomaia

Elizbar Elizbarashvili brought the suit to the court against the Minister of Education regarding the incident that happened on the 3rd of July. Elizbarashvili states that he was physically injured by the Minister of Education in his office on July 3 after he had asked why the Minister intended to carry out anti-Georgian policy in the educational system of Georgia. After the incident Elizbarashvili met the guards on the stairs when coming down from the cabinet of the Minister. The only assistance they rendered him was that they returned the broken spectacles. According to the victim, he lost the button in the cabinet during the incident. Elizbarashvili’s attorney demanded to conduct expertise at the place of incident to look for the button and the parts of broken spectacles for the identification. The mentioned mediation was not taken into account. Moreover, Kakha Lomaia and Gigi Tevzadze stated during the interrogation process that Elizbarashvili had been drunk and beaten, when he came to the Ministry. They also stated that they had to ask the guards to take him from the cabinet. The criminal case was not launched against the offender. But Elizbarashvili is not going to stop and has appealed to the court not only against the minister, but also against Gigi Tevzadze for spreading the false information. If the court does not cancel the decision, Elizbar Elizbarashvili is going to appeal to the Supreme Court.
