Report on Human Rights Has Been Prepared in Georgia

Non-governmental organization “Former Political Prisoners for Human Rights” has prepared a report on human rights defense in Georgia in the post-revolution (“The Rose Revolution”) period, which will be sent to European structures and human rights organizations in the near future.

“Since the end of November, 2003 we have studied about 100 incidents of prisoner torture that has been presented in the report. During this period there also have been some facts of prisoners’ death” – said Nana Kakabadze, the Chairperson of “Former Political Prisoners for Human Rights.”
