Sulkhan Molashvili Applies to the Human Rights Court in Strasburg

Media News. Although the mediation was sent two weeks ago and the discussion terms are only three days, the General Prosecution has not yet decided the issue of taking the investigation of Molashvili’s case from the Tbilisi Prosecution Office.

According to Shalva Shavgulidze, the attorney of the detainee, the case is yet in city prosecution and the city Prosecutor has already expressed his attitude towards the case. Grigalashvili, the Tbilisi Prosecutor, stated three weeks ago that Molashvili was not tortured at the police department.

Molashvili is going to apply to the Human Rights Court in Strasburg accusing the Georgian government of violating his rights.

These kind of applications are sent to Strasburg by David Mirtskhulava, former Minister of Fuel and Energy and Gia Aftsiauri, former head of the State Insurance Company.

Sulkhan Molashvili is now in prison hospital and his health condition is stable.
