Parliament Seems to Have Voted for Nonexistent tax Code

08.11.04.Media-News. „The variant of the new tax code draft voted for and accepted by the parliament last week during the very first hearing does not exist in parliament, - “ states Zurab Tkhemaladze, a member of the “right-winger oppostion industrialists.“

As Tkhemaladze has stated at the parliament bureau meeting, he had written an official letter to the organizational department of parliament requesting to send an official variant of the voted project. The point is that the document itself does not exist and the parliament has accepted the new tax code draft only on the basis of principles.

“ Since I have written to the organizational department this document has not been delivered yet. There does not exist such version in the parliament and no one can tell me what we have voted for. Parliament is in a comic situation“ – Zurab Tkhemaladze has stated in an interview with media news.
