Drivers from Gori Protest Dismissal

Tbilisi.07.12.04. Media News. Protest action which the drivers of buses and mini-buses held in Gori was shifted in front of the State Chancellery.

The participants of the action protest their dismissal and state that the government deprived their families of the only financial income. Drivers demand meeting with the representatives of the government and restoration to their working places. 

For information: On December 6, drivers from Gori blocked the central road in Gori having the same demand. They protest bringing of Dutch buses to Shida Kartli Region initiated by Mikheil Kareli, Presidential Representative in the Region. Drivers say that new drivers have been employed for the new Dutch buses, and they have been dismissed.

News
