The President Pardoned 52 Prisoners

Tbilisi.17.01.05.Media News. President Mikheil Saakashvili has signed pardon of 52 prisoners. 11 prisoners will be released, and the terms of imprisonment will be reduced to half for others. People detained 10 years ago with Tengiz Asanidze are among the pardoned prisoners.

For the information: The Pardon Commission has discussed the statements of more than 1000 prisoners. At present about three hundred prisoners are released.
