Conscription Starting from February 10

Tbilisi.06.02.05.Media News. In Georgian Military Forces 2005 Spring conscription period which began from February 1 will finish in February 10 and then the conscripts will go to military sub-divisions.

According to the plan the number of conscripts comprises 4500. 200 conscripts will go to the internal troops subordinate to the Ministry of Defense and the rest to different divisions.

Payment of 200GEL for postponing obligatory military service and 2000GEL for becoming free of military service remains in force. The conscripts will be able to pay this amount during 10 days from the receipt of the conscription paper.

Spring conscription will go on till the end of May.
