Aiming at clarifying the situation members of the Monitoring Council of the Public Defender’s Apparatus left for the place on February 26 immediztelly after receiving the complaint. The suspect has serious physical injuries and complains of pain. The state attorney demanded medical inspection of Narsavidze but the police refused.

The attorney only managed to see the detainee Davit Tamliani after the involvement of the Monitoring Council. Tamliani told the employees of the Public Defender’s Office that police had exercised pressure on him too.
