Citizens of 30 Countries Will No Longer Need Visas to Enter Georgia

 
Tbilisi, June 19, 2005.  MediaNews. According to the amendments made to Georgia’s Temporary Visits of Foreigners to Georgia Law on June 15, 2005, citizens of nearly 30 countries will no longer need visas to enter the country.

 
From now on the citizens of Austria, Estonia, Hungary, Luxemburg, Slovenia, Belgium, Finland, Ireland, Malta, Spain, Cyprus, France, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Czekh Republic, Germany, Latvia, Portugal, Holland, Denmark, Greece, Lithuania, Slovakia, Great Britain, USA, Japan, Canada, Israel and Switzerland will not need visas to enter and stay in Georgia for up to 90 days.

 
Any foreign citizen that stays in Georgia more than 90 days will need a Georgian visa, which will require applying to a Georgian diplomatic representative or consulate in Georgia.
