Shalva Ramishvili is Taken to Jail # 1

Tbilisi.30.08.05.Media News. Shalva Ramishvili, co-founder of Television  202 and the anchor of talk show „Debates“, who stands accused of the extortion of money from the parliamentarian Koba Bekauri, is moved to the jail # 1. David Kokhreidze, Director General of TV 202, also accused in this case, has similarly been moved to this jail.

They were allowed to be held in pre-detention for three months by the criminal collegium of the Tbilisi City Court on August 29.

The court upheld the claim of the prosecutor who put forward that in case of their release the two men would try to influence witnesses.
