President’s Brother does not Own Shares in the “Canargo” 

"Media News". “Canargo” deputy director Gia Itonashvili, denies that president Saakashvili’s brother owes shares in the company. According to the statement made by the leader of the Labour Party - Shalva Natelashvili, the president’s family has an interest in the company. “It is not true that George Saakashvili owns part of the company. Anyone can check the shares of “Canargo”,- said Gia Itonashvili,- “George is our employee, he works in one of the branches of the company.”

Oil Company Canargo is operating in Georgia from 1996 onwards. The chief of the company is David Robinson.
