On the initiative of the minister of Education and Science Kakha Lomaia, the working hours for school teachers were extended from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. “There is nothing new about this decision,” – Lomaia said, - “It is derived straightly from the Law on Labor.”  The chief of the Department of Communications of the Ministry of Education and Science Levan Gakheladze, told “Media news” that in the following months the salaries of school teachers will double.
