The Former co-workers of Mikheil Svimonishvili Threaten with Demonstrations

16.11.2005, “Media News” – 69 employees of the Ministry of Agriculture were fired because of a reform that took place in the Ministry.

The Minister’s decision triggered a protest from the side of the now ex-employees. They say that a non-professional committee reduced the number of work places.

The Minister of Agriculture Mikheil Svimonishvili does not agree with his former co-workers and advises them to sue against the Ministry.

“Reform is going on at the Ministry. After examination, a commission decided who would be fired and who would be kept. Any co-worker can go to court with their pretence,”- said Mikheil Svimonishvili.
