Protest Held in Front of Russian Embassy

15.11.2005, “Media News” – The Association of Young Political Scientists and Journalists held a protest in front of the Russian Embassy. Students of the Georgian Technical University and Sokhumi Branch of the Tbilisi State University participated in the protest.

They demanded withdrawal of Russian soldiers from the territory of Abkhazia. Protesters alleged that Russian peacekeepers raise tensions between Georgian and Abkhaz people and support the working of separatists in the Gali region.
