IDPs Protest Delay in Payment

Tbilisi.28.11.05.MediaNews. Today IDPs from Abkhazia gathered in front of the “People’s Bank” on Moscow Ave.  They demanded to receive their monthly aid of 14 Gel in time.

IDPs declare that they should have got the money on November 20th, but they still have not received it.

According to the press service of the “People’s Bank”, the Ministry of Refugees and Placement has not yet transferred the money.

The deputy head of the Funding Department of the Ministry of Refugees and Placement Parten Kurua said to Media News: “The money will be transferred to the bank today. So, IDPs will be able to receive money tomorrow and the day after tomorrow”.
