Bela Saria: the Gldani Adaptation Centre for Children is Ineffective

04.12.2005, “Media News” – The administration of the Children’s Rights Protection Centre of the Tbilisi Municipality finds the working of the Gldani Centre ineffective. According to the chief of the Children’s Rights Protection Centre Bela Saria, the funding for the Gldani Children’s Centre is spent irrationally.

“The Children’s adaptation Centre was established to support children who are left without care and who have found themselves on the wrong path. Nevertheless, the centre is unable to fulfill its duties. Instead of 70 children, only 24 juveniles live in the house”, - said Bela Saria.

According to Saria, the administration of the Centre has not even worked out a daily schedule and rehabilitation program.
