26.12.05, “Media News”- In Zugdidi jail №4, 35 years-old inmate Gerasime Djachvliani has died. According to the press-centre of the Ministry of Justice, Djachvliani lost consciousness in the morning. The reasons for the death are still unknown. Medical expertise was conducted in the Zugdidi jail.

However, the medical conclusion is not yet written. The reasons for the death will be cleared up after the expertise.

Gerasime Djachvliani was arrested on the 17th of October, 2005. He was accused of robbery. The court sentenced him to 7 months of imprisonment.
