Body Discovered on the Military Academy Grounds

09.01.2006, “Media News” – The body of Private Akaki Parkaia was discovered in the sentry-box. According to the press centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Akaki Parakia was sent to the sentry box on the 8th of January at 9 a.m.

“Soldiers say that they heard a sound of a gun at approximately at 23:30, followed by the discovery of Parkaia’s body. According to an unofficial source, the soldier committed suicide,” stated the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The investigation, which is to be conducted by the military police, will occur in the near future.
