Traders from Kutaisi Tried to Raid Municipality Building

Kutaisi, 13.02.2006, “Media News”-  Traders held a protest action in front of the Kutaisi Municipality Building. They protested against the prohibition on street-trading. Demonstrators tried to raid the Municipality Building and to block the street. Special Forces arrested one of the organizers of the demonstration Amiran Baghdavadze. He has been moved to the Kutaisi regional police department.

Street-traders intend to continue protesting and will organize a huge demonstration in the near future.
