  Officers of Financial Police Have Beaten Up Smugglers

On the 19th of February, Tristan Mushkiashvili and Niko Guldiashvili, two inhabitants of village Dribi in the Kareli region, were hospitalized in the Gori clinic. Both of them received brain concussion and other injuries. As the Human Rights Information and Documentation Centre found out, these persons were members of a group arrested during a special operation in Dribi. All of them are imprisoned.

The police found untaxed cigarettes with a value of 70 thousand Gel with the arrested group. Village Dribi is situated near Ossetian settlements.
