Staff of Public Broadcasting Company Oppose Executive Director

Tbilisi, 28.02.2006, “Media News” – The staff of the Public Broadcasting Company accuse the General Director, Tamar Kintsurashvili, of bad management.

Yesterday, the staff of the Legislative Department of the Public Broadcasting Company left their posts. They sent a special appeal to the Georgian Parliament, to find out about the activities of the Public Broadcasting Company during the last six months. “Tamar Kintsurashvili knows nothing about management. Television and Radio is a creative organization and needs better administration”, declares the former producer of the “Second TV Channel”, Dodo Shonava.

The head of the Human Rights Committee, Elene Tevdoradze, reacted to the appeal made by former staff of the Broadcasting Company.

“I will forward this letter to the head of the Parliament, Nino Burdjanadze, and I hope we will meet Board of Trustees to listen to them, to find out what their problems are and work hard not to leave such professional people without job,” said Elene Tevdoradze.
