Prisoner Dies in Prison Hospital
Tbilisi. 17.05.06. Media News. In the Penitentiary Department’s Medical Institution for Prisoners, within the Ministry of Justice, prisoner Anzor G., aged 34, died from advanced intoxication.
The doctors diagnosed Anzor as suffering from tuberculosis of the left lung, HIV/AIDS and chronic viral hepatitis.
On August 11th 2005, Anzor was charged with robbery. On March 17th 2006, he was placed in the Medical Institution for Prisoners in Batumi.
