Georgian Side Blames Russian Peace-Makers for Criminal Inaction

Tbilisi. 07.08.06. Media News. Today armed attack on Georgian policemen in Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone are considered as a provocation by Administration of Georgian State Minister on Conflict Settlement and blames the Russian peace makers for inaction.

“The accident is viewed by us as next provocation. Besides that we underline criminal inaction of Russian Peace-makers, since it is not the first occasion. Similar provocations have occurred regularly, what makes us think of a well-organized plot to involve Georgia in a war and to torpid Peace-talks,” they declare in the administration of the Minister.

They think that the fact proves the ineffective feature of Peace-talks and demands the creation of efficient formats, what would promote the success of peace keeping process and the stabilization of the situation.

As a note: Today two masked people opened fire at police-car standing near the village of Avnev. The accident resulted into the death of three policemen; one of them is badly wounded. At the moment they are in Kareli and Gori hospitals.
