Ombudsman Helps ill Prisoner to be Moved to the Hospital

Tbilisi, 25.08.06, ‘Media News’ – Nanuli G, the mother of inmate George G, who is imprisoned in the Jail #1, appealed to Sozar Subari for help. According to mother, her son has acute form of TB and his heath condition is getting worse.

On the 29th of July, Publis Defender’s Office asked the Ministry of Justice and Health, Labour and Social Affairs to create group of experts to check heath condition of George G.

After medical research it was proved that George G. has TB of lungs. He is now moved to the hospital for additional research and medical treatment.
