Georgians, Deported from Russia Have Problems on the Georgian Border

Tbilisi, 26.10.06. Media-News. Nearly 100 Georgian citizens deported from Russia  are now on Georgian-Daghestan border. They have all necessary documents, however, they have problems from Georgian side with the entary to the country.

Today Elene Tevdoradze, the head of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee declared at the parliamenary session that the Georgian Government must take care of the deported Georgians and assist them immediately.

"Hundreds of our citizens are not allowed to enter their Country, because Georgian side considers their documents are not in order. I apply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Frontier Department to solve this problem’ – Elene Tevdoradze stated.
