NGOs Are Setting Up the Committee to Support Political Prisoners

Tbilisi. 10. 12. 06. Media news.  Today, members of the members of the Coalition of the Non-governmental Organizations stated on the informational demonstration held in front of the Tbilisi #7 detention setting to support the political prisoners.

Davit Liluashvili, the chief of the Coalition, said to the Media News in his interview, the coalition of the organizations are going to establish the independent committee, what will estimate the exact number and identities of the political prisoners in Georgia.

Liluashvili said that the "program-minimum" of the committee will be challenging the state government and international organizations to admit that political prisoners do exist in Georgia. The 'Program Maximum" is to release those political prisoners.
