January 29, 2007

Turkish journalist, Sebetin Serban was not allowed to enter the territory of the Abkhazian Self-proclaimed Republic by the Sokhumi authority.

According to the TV Company Rsutavi 2’s information, Abkhaz frontiers demanded the journalist to produce Russian visa at the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti administrative board, near the Enguri River.

The Turkish journalist wanted to find out the business and economical environment in Abkhazia. He was also curious about the information regarding the parliamentary elections in Abkhazia.

Serben is going to leave Zugdidi for Turkey today.
