Chinese Entrepreneur Was Attacked in Telavi

February 14, 2007

On February 11, a salesman for the Chinese shop, which is located next to the Magti Company office in Telavi, was attacked. The witnesses said in their conversation with the Human Rights Center that the victim immediately applied to the Kakheti Regional Patrol Police Department and the Telavi district police. However, the law enforces did not pay attention to his appeal.

Criminal case has not been launched on the fact yet. Baadur Guliashvili, the chief of the Telavi Police Department, categorically denies the fact. Chinese people complain about the suppression from Telavi residents.
