March 2, 2007

One of the three students, who were kidnapped from the conflict zone by Abkhaz criminals, is still in the Gali district Police Station, and another two are in the Sokhumi Police Station.

According to Paata Shamugia, Deputy Coordinator of Gali Division within the IDP Government of Abkhazia, the students were fired when they were coming back from the protest demonstration in the village of Shamgona in the Zugdidi District. Abkhaz took the three students, Levan Rigvava, Iver Khorshia and Koba Bachava, to the village of Tagiloni in their controlled area.

Shamugia said in his conversation to Media News that the Abkhaz have mobilized additional forces almost in every village, and each unit is set up of 20 men.
