Non-Governmental Organizations Are Holding Protest Demonstration in Front of the Prosecutor General’s Office

Today, the Political Prisoners Supporting Committee, that incorporates various NGOs, is going to hold a protest demonstration in front of the Prosecutor General’s office.

Davit Liluashvili, the chairman of the NGO “The Committee for Democratic Principles and Human Rights protection”, said in his conversation with the Media News that the committee expresses its protest the negative role of the prosecutor in the judiciary process. “We think criminal cases are drawn up against political prisoners at the prosecutor general’s office. Regardless their opinions and ideology, we support all political prisoners and we are ready to protect them,” said Liluashvili.
