Bagaturia Challenged Traders to Hold Demonstrations

Representatives of the Political Union ”Kartuli Dasi” (Georgian Group) and Human Rights Organization held informational demonstration in front of the Central Agricultural Supermarket, so called ”Dezertirebis Bazroba”.

Jondi Bagaturia stated that illegal activities of the authority resulted into grave political and socio-economical situation. ”The government got used to scanty demonstrations. They are not afraid of the people anymore. So I call upon all patriots to support and join us on Monday at 2:00 PM in front of the Tbilisi City Hall. We must show the President Saakashvili the power of people. Our principal demands are to restore all kind of social allowances for retired people, IDPs, veterans of Abkhazian and Samachablo wars. Monthly pension must be increased until 118 lari. In addition to that we demand to reduce increased travelling fees on public transport. Normal trading conditions must be created for traders in the centeral Supermarket,” said Jondi Bagaturia.
