43 Juvenile Prisoners Will Soon Be Returned to Avchala Custody from Rustavi Prison

Tbilisi.16.08.07.Medianews. After the incident on August 13 in Juvenile Custody of the Georgian Ministry of Justice prisoners were taken to Rustavi Prison # 2. Part of prisoners will remain in the strict regime custody for three months while the other 43 will be returned to the custody after the improvement of operative-regime conditions.

Representatives of the Ministry of Justice stated that the situation complicated on August 13 because of disorder. Prisoners broke windows and furniture in cells. On August 14, 107 prisoners out of total 207 was taken to strict regime prison.
