The Building of Writers’ Union Is Sealed Up

Tbilisi.21.08.07.Medianews. Eviction of Writers’ Union finished in Machabeli Street # 13 in Tbilisi. Supervision Department brought out the furniture from the building and sealed it up.

At the moment the surrounding area is surrounded with barriers. Equipments of the Writers’ Union were taken to the rented warehouse of the Ministry of Economics in Vani Street.

Today, Supervision Department emptied the office of “Sakhalkho Fronti” (Public Front), National Democratic Party and Newspaper “Literaturuli Sakartvelo” (Literary Georgia). Representatives of the Ministry of Economical Development, define that the building occupied by those organizations was state property and it is returned to its legal owner.
