Law Enforcers Launched Investigation on the Fact of Beating Opposition Members in Zugdidi

According to Levan Bejashvili, the chairman of the Legal Committee of Georgian Parliament, the law enforcement bodies launched investigation on physical harassment of opposition members in Zugdidi on 28 October.

Bejashvili stated that the government will take adequate measures against law offenders regardless their rank and party-membership.

Bejashvili also mentioned that he did not know the names of the suspected people in Zugdidi incident yet.
