The members of Youth Movement of “November 7” on Hunger Strike for the Release Political Prisoners

It is already been six days that Ilia Tsurtsumia member of “November 7” having been starving, himself in front of the Khobi cultural house. This has all been an effort in demanding the release of political prisoners.
In 2007, Tsurtsumia was arrested for resisting the head of police. It now been eight months since his release and now he wants to change the lack of attention that political prisoners are given in Georgia. “I decided to initiate a hunger strike, because as it currently stands in Georgia, there are no pre-determind conditions for the release of political prisoners. There have been many attempts but unfortunately no results. A lack of results will continue until the whole Georhia demands their release.” said Tsurtsumia.
