New Strategy on Occupied Territories Deals with Mohajirs too

New strategy of the Georgian about occupied territories speaks about restoration of relationship with Mohajirs too.

State Minister of Georgia for Reintegration Temur Iakobashvili stated about it at the session of the parliamentary committee for foreign relations and our compatriots living abroad and temporary parliamentary committee of the territorial integrity.

Iakobashvili said Mohajirs, resettled from Georgia in Turkey always played important role in the politics of Turkey. They want to reestablish cultural and political relationships with Georgia.

According to the Minister, the new strategy of Georgia aims to promote these relationships; however, he added that Mohajirs will not be settled in Abkhazia.
