Convicted Under Administrative Law Will Have to Buy Newspapers

Convicted under the Administrative Law shall buy newspapers if she/he wants to read them. Minister of Penitentiary, Probation and Legal Aid issued decree which estimated rights of the convicted under administrative law.

According to the decree, a convicted can subscribe newspapers with his/her money. Besides, convicted can enjoy right to meet his/her attorney, representative of the consulate and other diplomats (for foreign citizens) without restriction; they can buy things in the shop located in the area of the detention setting; they can store and lawfully use essential things, hygiene items and other subjects; they can have correspondence in accordance to the law; they can take books from the library of the prison; they can file applications, complaints and petitions to the prison administration both in written and verbal form.

The decree of the Minister of Penitentiary, Probation and Legal Aid is already in force.
