Public Assembly Activist Accuses Police of Excercising Pressure

Izaam Mamedov, an activist of Public Assembly accuses the police of exercising pressure against his family. Mamedov, who participated in the protest rally, stated that late at night yesterday, about 20 policemen raided his house and tried to detain his son Dashkin Mamedov.

According to him, he is an active participant of protest rallies and he links the detainment of his son to this fact.

As Izaam Mamedov stated the policemen physically assaulted him. He has some face injuries.

Irakli Batiashvili stated that such facts have been frequent lately.
