Mamuka Ivaniadze says he was forced to give testimony against Davit Kirvalidze

According to Mamuka Ivaniadze, the person indicted with regard to the case of the detained officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, he was forced to give testimony against Davit Kirvalidze. 

As Ivaniadze said at a press conference, serous pressure had been exerted on him after his detention. He said he wrote the testimony by the manipulation of Prosecutor Giorgi Davitashvili. Ivaniadze said he didn’t even read the testimony. He just signed it. According to him, he will necessarily change the testimony at the trial.

According to him, pressure had been exerted on him for 4 hours and he was not allowed to see a lawyer. Mamuka Ivaniadze suspects that he was forced to give testimony against Kirvaldize because of inner political motives.
