Street Traders Against the Police in Zugdidi

Zugdidi. Media News

More than 100 street traders held a protest at the central market of Zugdidi. They resisted the police and did not allow the police to take away their stores.

The protestors claim that the police and the management of the market have decided to give their places to other vendors.

In the entrance of the market there was a special team of police and their representatives who stated that street trading must be forestalled once and for all, though they’ll try to defend the legal rights of street traders as well.
