Abducted Refugee’s Status Still Unknown

Gori. 07.04.05. MediaNews. Georgian officials so far have no information about Iasha Maisuradze, a refugee from the Tskhinvali region who was abducted from the Gori Tourist Centre, where he was currently living.  Maisuradze’s relatives also have no information about why he might have been abducted.

On April 5, Maisuradze, together with Ilia Sadzaglishvili, resident of the same Tourist Centre, were abducted by car of unknown armed individuals. The abductors later freed Sadzaglishvili.

Sadzaglishvili made no comment about any possible motivation behind the abduction.
