Sulkhan Molashvili Stays Imprisoned

Tbilisi. 25.07.05. Media News. The Regional Court of Tbilisi did not satisfy the appeal of the attorney of Sulkhan Molashvili, the ex-chairman of the Chamber of Control and left his client in pre-detention.

Shalva Shavgulidze, the attorney of Molashvili says that the terms of imprisonment of the convict is 9 months according to the Georgia legislation, but Sulkhan Molashvili has been imprisoned already for 12 months.

According to article No12 and No159 of the code of procedure, Molashvili is illegal prisoner and must be released.

The ex-chairman of the Chamber of Control is blamed in abusing his power.
